our founders
Duneya Tours was founded by Adasay and Chahira, two passionate adventurers with deep connections to Algeria and the Sahara.
Adasay hails from Bern, Switzerland, and is of Tuareg and Swiss descent. He spent his life between Djanet and Bern, growing up immersed in the traditions of the Tuareg. With three generations of family experience in desert tourism, his upbringing and family legacy provide travellers with an authentic travel experience.
Chahira, of Algerian and South African descent, grew up in Vancouver, Canada, and has always dreamed of sharing the beauty of Algeria with the world. A journalism graduate and photographer, she uses her creativity to dispel misconceptions about her homeland through her art and storytelling.
Together, Chahira and Adasay aim to offer immersive and meaningful experiences, allowing travellers to connect with the Sahara’s stunning beauty and rich heritage.
