arrival in djanet
After arriving on a night flight at Tiska Djanet Airport, you’ll be warmly greeted and transferred to your bivouac accommodation near Djanet. Here, you can relax and recharge, in anticipation for the exciting adventure that lies ahead.
day 1
After breakfast, depart for Timras through a stunning landscape of dunes and dark rocks. Overnight in bivouac.
day 2
From one wadi to another towards T-In-Afazo, we enter eroded cliffs leading to the Assousou canyon. Overnight in bivouac.
day 3
Through the T-In-Afazo canyon, we reach the Tilelene cirque, surrounded by cliffs and dunes. Overnight in bivouac.
day 4
Heading towards Tikoubaouine, we navigate through eroded sandstone leading to the Taouia guelta. Overnight in bivouac.
day 5
Passing through the gorges of Ioulalaten, we arrive at oued Hel and then Tan-Zaïd. Overnight in bivouac.
day 6
Descending towards Essendilène via the Tarz-In Hal pass, we explore a beautiful canyon adorned with pink laurels at the foot of towering cliffs that lead to a hidden guelta. Overnight in bivouac.

Return to Djanet across the vast erg Admer plain, alongside the cliffs of Tikoubaouine and Ouan Aughaleia. Overnight in bivouac.
day 8
Through the stunning landscapes of Tiouaiteghen, we conclude our trek. In the afternoon, return to Djanet by 4x4 and settle into Duneya Tours accommodation. Explore the city, visit the palm grove, museum, and market. Dinner and transfer to the airport in the evening.
